PinPoint for Contracts comes with ready sample
dashboards and demo data used for analyzing
Customer and Supplier Contracts, including
contract spend analysis to collect supplier
rebates, discounts, marketing allowances and
delivery performance. PinPoint comes with a
Business Intelligence portal, dashboards,
workflow, user permissions, email templates and
more.
If you do not have Microsoft Silverlight (MS’s
version of Adobe Flash Player) on your computer,
when opening a dashboard or the portal home
page, you
may see a Silverlight icon with a prompt to
install. If you already have Silverlight
installed, the dashboard will load, followed by
a demo database which can take from seconds to a
couple of minutes, depending on its size. After
the first start up, caching will give an almost
immediate start the next time you open a
dashboard.
The Demo application does provide you with
functionality to fully interact with the demo
database and reports. It does not, however,
allow you to create or edit dashboards, connect
to a server or clone a dashboard. If you are
